As Casual Event Staff with BILD Edmonton Metro, you’ll be right in the action — helping bring unforgettable experiences to life at our signature events, from golf tournaments to awards galas and everything in between. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, meeting new people, and being part of a team that makes events run seamlessly, this role is for you.

Event Support

· Assist with event setup, including installing banners, arranging signage, preparing registration areas, organizing name badges, and setting up awards, prizes, and promotional materials.

· Ensure all event spaces are organized, presentable, and aligned with event plans and branding requirements.

· Provide day-of-event support by welcoming and directing guests, assisting with registration, answering inquiries, and delivering a high level of customer service.

· Act as a point of contact for attendees, helping to resolve issues quickly and professionally while escalating concerns when necessary.

· Support event flow by coordinating with team members, vendors, and organizers to ensure schedules are followed and activities run smoothly.

· Assist with crowd management and monitor guest movement to maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment.

· Identify and respond to potential safety concerns or disruptions in a calm and proactive manner.

· Assist with event teardown, including dismantling signage and displays, packing materials, cleaning event spaces, and ensuring all items are accounted for and stored properly.

· Perform other event-related duties as assigned to support overall event success.

Education & Skills

· Demonstrated strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor

· Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

· Proven problem-solving abilities and capacity to think quickly in dynamic situations

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

· Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, tasks, and event needs

Qualifications

· Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting professional events, hospitality, or customer-facing roles

· Valid driver’s license and/or reliable access to transportation

· Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 lbs. or more

· Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

$18-$20 per hour.

Casual, as needed.
