Payton Phillips is a strategic communications professional with experience in the communications, journalism, and marketing industries.
Over the past five years, Payton has written and edited over 100 published articles across two Alberta magazines. Prior to Edmonton, Payton worked as a freelance content creator and writer in Victoria, B.C., and completed her degree in communications and journalism at MacEwan University in 2024. As content strategist, Payton creates feature stories, develops scripts and creates content for various media platforms. Payton hopes to bring to light the issues and advancements within the Edmonton Metro region, advocating for positive community engagement and creating a larger conversation around the development of urban spaces.
