Downtown is a vital hub for community, business, finance, education, professional services, culture, entertainment and government. The neighbourhood serves as a home, a place of business, and the centre for the entire region. Support for investment that will grow downtown’s population and jobs is ongoing.

Our priorities include:

• Attract economic investment and jobs
• Invest in revitalization and recovery for the downtown
• Invest in public realm improvements that align with the Downtown Investment Plan
• Incentivize more housing to grow the downtown population
