Renovation Project
Canadians know the value of a home renovation, but finding a reliable, reputable renovator can be tricky.
The annual Renovation Project brings together member volunteers to revitalize homes, spaces, or places in partnership with a chosen charity or non-profit organization. Join BILD Edmonton Metro for an inspiring three days of community and transformation as members come together to renovate a local charity. These projects are more than just renovations — they are opportunities to make a meaningful impact and demonstrate solidarity with our neighbours.

Past Projects

Kids Kottage (2025)
Kids Kottage Edmonton is a nonprofit crisis organization dedicated to protecting children and supporting families during times of extreme stress. Their mission is to keep infants and young children safe, prevent family breakdown, and reduce the risk of abuse or neglect.
The 2025 Reno Project brought together the BILD team, members, volunteers, and sponsors who provided donations of various supplies and appliances. Over two days, the entire outdoor play space was renovated, enabling more kids to play safely outside. Together, the team also worked to build an outdoor arts and crafts area, an indoor play space, and updated the patio with new cooking appliances.

Amy’s House (2024)
Amy’s House is a local charity that offers free accommodation to cancer patients and their families who must travel to Edmonton for treatment — particularly when they live more than 100 km away. They offer fully furnished homes with bedrooms, a kitchen, laundry, Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning, and more.
The 2024 Reno Project brought together the BILD team, members, volunteers, and sponsors who provided donations of lumber, cabinetry, flooring and more. Over three days, the team transformed a space of 500 square feet into an area that families will be able to enjoy while their loved ones stay upstairs.
