Constructive Partnerships
City building requires a team approach to ensure that as many perspectives as possible are incorporated into the life of our neighbourhoods, streets, and buildings. Drawing on the research and experience of academics, innovators, and industry experts is the best way to progress our communities and ensure they are sustained as great places to live, work, and invest. Sharing data, research, and industry insight with decision-makers is essential to ensuring the building and land development sector’s role in shaping future communities is well understood and valued.
We advocate for the following outcomes:
- Strong collaboration with industry associations to amplify shared priorities and issues of mutual interest
- Meaningful opportunities to exchange industry perspectives with elected officials and senior administrators, fostering mutual understanding and problem solving
- Expanded research partnerships with post-secondary educational institutions
- Broad sharing of data and research outcomes with members and the wider community
